Hand Building

This technique allows you to explore your creativity and expression of technique including painting your own work.

Wheel Throwing

If you are willing to be more challenged and be rewarded for your efforts, this is the one. You will experience throwing, centering, trimming and finishing your own work on an electric wheel.

School Holiday Claymation Fun For Kids

At Din39 Pottery Studio kids' holiday workshop, we offer this bespoke programme four days a week, Tuesdays to Fridays, with two sessions: the first at 10am and second session at 1pm. The duration of each workshop is approximately two hours. In addition, we do offer and all day 5 hours workshop including lunch.

Classes Details

Children can choose between three options on the school holiday workshops:

Option 1 and 2 : Duration 2 hours and 6 years Up

Option 3 : Duration 5 hours and 8 years up

Option 1 - Free style. Participants can make whatever they wish. This is popular for children who have a clear idea of what they wish to make with clay.

Option 2 - structured workshop. For each workshop, the Pottery tutor will demonstrate a different technique or item to make. This is great for children who have previously worked with clay and are wanting to learn more and refine their clay techniques and behavior.

Option 3 - Free style, hand building and painting techniques. For this stage, participants will find it fun and exciting then create their own bespoke creation from what has been learnt throughout the day.
